My Gift to the World

Hello Moms and Moms-to-be!  I am so excited to be writing this blog post!  It means five years of research, design, development, sweat and tears is complete and we are launching our entire program to the world.  When I sat down to write this blog I was reflecting on the last 5 years.  Out of curiosity I decided to take a look at all the places we have people using the PregoFIT Workout programs (TTC, Prenatal, and Postpartum).  It was so fun to see all the cities/states across the country where Mom’s are embracing the PregoFIT lifestyle and investing in both their, and their baby’s health.  As I continued to scan the locations, I was a little surprised, and excited, to see how many of our members where from outside the United States.  It is such a humble honor to touch so many different lives! Ladies, sometimes we are too hard on ourselves! ;)

Last week one of my dearest friends had a baby.  I went by her house to say, ‘hello’ and meet her little bundle of joy and as we were catching up on how incredible everything is going (smooth transition to breastfeeding, precious togetherness with baby, etc…) she said something that totally caught me off guard.  Like all women, she began highlighting her ‘body flaws’.  As she’s sharing her feelings, I am having this ironic internal monologue about how great she looks one week postpartum and here she is focused on a few minor areas that come with having a baby.  I didn’t know if I should laugh or cry.  I quietly thought to myself about the countless times my husband said to me, “honey, you just had a baby, cut yourself some slack…you look great.”  Well, for the first time, I understood what he was saying.
