How can a woman plan healthy meals to get the nutrients she needs during pregnancy?
PregoFIT has provided four pages from ‘a healthy Mom’s food journal’ from a member of our Health & Wellness Team. It is a general guideline that you can use to compare and contrast how you are eating and what adjustments you can make to nutritiously take care of yourself and your baby.
The first four pages of the PregoFIT Nutrition Guide are ‘typical days’ from a healthy Mom’s journal. We chose these days because the meals and snacks were quick to fix. The pages following are recommendations of some nutritious meals/snacks, to mix and match to create ‘more days’ for your journey towards healthy eating. We hope our suggestions give you fresh ideas of how to create healthy meal plans while eating a variety of nutritious foods each day. We encourage you to choose wisely when eating for you and your baby.
Note: We recommend taking the prenatal vitamin with the evening meals as to not exacerbate nausea.
